PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY

1. Scope of Agreement
These Payment and Cancellation Terms (“Terms”) apply to all tours operated by Perretti Tours LLC, doing business as Curio Italia (“Curio Italia,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By booking a tour with Curio Italia, each guest agrees to these Terms, which govern payments, installment plans, cancellations, refunds, and future travel credits.
2. Definitions
GUEST: Any individual who books, pays for, or participates in a Curio Italia tour, whether directly or through another party.
DEPOSIT: A $100 per-reservation payment required to confirm a booking. The deposit is part of the total tour price, but is treated separately for refund and cancellation purposes.
BALANCE: The total tour price, including any Add-Ons, minus the $100 deposit.
ADD-ON: An optional extension or supplemental experience offered in connection with a base tour. Add-Ons may have separate participation minimums and supplier commitments.
CANCELLATION DATE: The date Curio Italia receives written notice of cancellation via the official cancellation form or by email.
CREDIT: A non-refundable amount retained by Curio Italia that may be applied toward a future Curio Italia tour within 24 months of the original tour’s departure date, subject to availability.
STANDARD BOOKING: A reservation made more than 120 days before departure.
ACCELERATED BOOKING: A reservation made 61–120 days before departure.
LAST-MINUTE BOOKING: A reservation made 60 days or fewer before departure.
3. Payment Options (Selected at Booking)
At the time of reservation, guests must select one of the following payment options:
Option A – Pay in Full
The entire tour price, including the $100 deposit and any Add-Ons, is paid at booking.
The price shown at checkout includes the $100 deposit.
The deposit is refundable only as outlined in Section 7.
Option B – Payment Plan (Deposit Only at Booking)
Guests pay $100 per reservation at booking to secure their spot.
After booking, Curio Italia will contact the guest to confirm the installment schedule.
The remaining balance is paid according to the installment schedule in Section 4.
A $50 service fee applies to each installment payment.
All installment plan service fees are non-refundable.
4. Payment Plan Schedule
Standard & Accelerated Bookings (61+ days before departure)
The remaining balance is divided into three equal installments, due:
30 days after booking
60 days after booking
90 days after booking
All payments must be completed no later than 60 days before departure.
Late Installment Alignment
If a booking is made after one or more scheduled installment dates have already passed, any missed installments must be brought current within fifteen (15) days of booking, or no later than sixty (60) days prior to the tour’s departure date — whichever occurs sooner. Curio Italia will contact the guest after booking to confirm and arrange these payments.
Last-Minute Bookings (60 days or fewer before departure)
The installment option is not available.
The full tour price is due at booking.
5. Failure to Complete Payment
All tours must be fully paid at least 60 days before departure.
If payment is not received in full by that time:
Curio Italia may cancel the reservation and release the spot to another guest.
Payments made will be treated under the 31–60 day cancellation policy.
Curio Italia may, at its discretion, allow a brief grace period of up to seven (7) days before cancellation takes effect.
6. Tour Minimums
Each Curio Italia tour requires a minimum number of participants (typically six (6) guests, unless otherwise stated).
If Curio Italia cancels a tour due to insufficient participation, all payments will be fully refunded, including the deposit.
7. Deposit Rules
The $100 deposit is fully refundable within fifteen (15) days of booking, provided the cancellation occurs at least thirty (30) days before departure.
After fifteen (15) days, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
For bookings made within thirty (30) days of departure, the deposit is non-refundable immediately.
8. Cancellation Process

All cancellations must be submitted in writing by:

EFFECTIVE CANCELLATION DATE: is the date Curio Italia receives written notice.
CONFIRMATION: Guests will receive written confirmation of cancellation within three (3) business days. If confirmation is not received, guests must contact Curio Italia promptly.
REFUND PROCESSING: Approved refunds will be issued within twenty (20) business days to the original form of payment unless otherwise agreed.
9. Refund & Credit Policy (After Deposit)
Refunds and credits apply only to amounts actually paid by the guest at the time of cancellation. All credits must be applied toward a future Curio Italia tour within twenty-four (24) months of the original tour’s departure date.

The deposit is governed separately by Section 7 and is not included in balance refunds.
10. Optional Add-Ons
Minimum Participation
- Add-Ons may have separate minimum participation requirements.
- If Curio Italia cancels an Add-On due to insufficient participation, 100% of Add-On payments will be refunded
Guest-Initiated Add-On Cancellations
- Guests may cancel an Add-On independently of the base tour by providing written notice in accordance with the Cancellation Process.
- If a guest cancels an Add-On but continues with the base tour, the Add-On will be refunded or credited according to the same timing-based refund and credit schedule that applies to the base tour, based on the number of days remaining before departure.
- Once an Add-On is confirmed within sixty (60) days of departure, it is considered operationally committed and becomes non-refundable, except where Curio Italia cancels the Add-On.
Base Tour Cancellation Impact on Add-Ons
- If a guest cancels their base tour, any associated Add-Ons will be automatically canceled and refunded or credited according to the same timing rules that apply to the base tour cancellation.
Add-On Modifications
- Curio Italia may modify the format or provider of an Add-On as necessary, provided the core experience is delivered. Such modifications do not constitute a breach of these Terms.
11. Restricted States (CA, FL, HI, WA)
The sale of travel services are restricted in several states. Curio Italia is licensed as a Seller of Travel in the State of California (CST# 2164035-40). At this time, Curio Italia does not offer or sell travel services to residents of Florida, Hawaii, or Washington
Accordingly, residents of these states may not book travel with Curio Italia through this website or through any other sales channel. If a booking is made in error by a resident of one of these states, Curio Italia reserves the right to cancel the booking and issue a refund in accordance with these Payment and Cancellation Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
