Founder-Led Journeys

Curio Italia began as a personal journey.

Founder Lucas Perretti spent years exploring Italy’s lesser-known regions — wandering hill towns, meeting local winemakers, and discovering places that rarely appear in guidebooks.

Along the way, friendships formed with guides, artisans, and hosts who now welcome Curio travelers into their communities.

Every Curio journey is shaped by those relationships and personally hosted to ensure the experience remains thoughtful, small, and deeply connected to place.

Curio journeys are built on three things: exploration, local friendships, and small groups.

How Curio Journeys Are Crafted

Routes developed through years of travel across Italy’s lesser-known regions.

Curio partners with guides, winemakers, and artisans who share their home, shops, and traditions.

Every journey is capped at 8–12 travelers to preserve intimacy.

Curio itineraries balance curated experiences with time to explore naturally.
